This post is a celebration. After roughly one year of planning, conceptualizing, developing, cursing, swearing, testing, going back to the drawing board and starting all over again — we have finally released Daedalus Touch on the App Store.
Then go get it already and enjoy some work in what wired.com’s Charlie Sorrel calls the first »iPad-expoiting« text editor on the App Store.
As for us, we’re pretty exhausted right now (though in a happy, surreal way), and we’re taking a couple of days off. I’m in Denmark for some holidays, and Max will be at WWDC next week, learning about the future of our industry. If you happen to run into him, give him a hug.
Speaking of hugs: We’d like to thank everybody involved in this project for their time, support and understanding, especially our families during the last weeks of sheer crazy mad developer irrationality. We love you.
We’d also like to thank our beta testers for their feedback, suggestions and thorough bug reports. Thumbs up, we couldn’t have made it on our own.
Lastly, we’d like to thank Apple’s App Store review team for these insanely quick reviews.
Have fun, everybody.
