For those of us who type a lot and need to use a “real” keyboard, perhaps you could consider creating a version of Daedalus for the Mac? I love your idea of organising information through paper stacks.
Another thought – perhaps you could introduce named sets of paper stacks. For a novelist, for instance, each novel could have a named set, and the author could write different parts of the novel, shuffle them and organise them into stacks that will eventually form chapters.
