Ulysses 2.0: Does not work on OS 10.5.7 Dutch version

    I tried to boot Ulysses 2 on two mac's with 10.5.7 (Dutch language). In both instances Ulysses won't boot (or rather, crash immediately after booting).

    Thank you for bringing this up. This is a known issue in the registration dialog with the 2.0 release. We have already fixed this in our internal system and will release an update by the end of the week. For now, here is a workaround. Basically you have to turn off dutch for the registration process and then you can turn it back on again.

    To switch to English, do the following:

    • 1 Locate Ulysses.app in Finder (usually in your Applications folder)

    • 2 ctrl-click it

    • 3 select Information

    • 4 under Languages, unselect everything but English (or just dutch, as you like)

    • 5 close the Information panel

    Then starting Ulysses should work. You can register or apply for a trial license. Then you can close Ulysses again, repeat steps 1-3, re-select all languages and close the Information panel. Then also the localized version should work.
