I installed Ulysses on my notebook running 10.4.11. All seems to be pretty good. Is there a special gap Ulisses will fall into under 10.4.11? Any features that must have 10.5.?

No, there are no features that require Leopard. Currently the only known thing is the registration and this will be fixed soon. The most important reason why we dropped Tiger support is that Ulysses does not look as polished under Tiger as it does under Leopard. For example the console mode notes are quite unusable without glossy windows. The second reason was that we do not run any machine with Tiger here. Only with a relatively large effort we were able to make it run on Tiger again. We're therefor unable to provide the quality of support that our users expect.

    greets from saxony, Max

I found a crucial tiger-gap: Ulisses - Schriften und Farben (Fonts and Colors) - Standsar Modus/Terminal Modus/Preview: Instead of the fonts only "Objekt 1", "Object 2" and "Objekt 3" is shown in the scrollbar. The wysiwyg-window and the colours-picker don't work either. It seems, that Ulisses can't use the Tiger-settings for fonts & colors. Damned .. my notebook is to weak for Leopard. Or did I make something wrong?

I think you did a very good job and Ulisses is a great text-editor. Exactly what I need. But not suitable for Tiger-Notebooks. Pity!

Yes, as you can see there are a lot of tiny things that keep the ball from rolling. It it usable but not as good as you'd expect from us. This is why we dropped the official support. Maybe we can fix some of there issues in the coming releases.

Thank you for your great support!! I really appreciate that!

Hopeing for some fixes in the coming releases (or that I can afford a new Macbook someday in the near future).

Yeah, that's the sacrifice a dev has to do in the release week :)
