Am I getting this right? You can only have one project open at a time?

When I try to open another project, the program closes the first project and opens the second one.

    Is that the usual behavior?

Yes it is. I have to admit that it's partially ideological and partially a technical leftover from ancient times. The ideological party says: concentrate on one project (though we should give you the option, I think). The technical part is: we had it this way from the beginning and I weren't thinking about that we might change it at some point. Therefore, I'd have to change a lot in the app infrastructure.

We have it on our list, but don't expect multiple open projects too soon.

I understand the ideology part. Makes sense. However, I am working on a book and a blog. Some of the content which appears on the blog is reworked for the book. Makes it a pain to have to do this switcheroo every time I need to go from one to the other. Not a deal-breaker, but rather painful. :)

There's a nice thing you can do: Go to the preferences and then to Startup. Select "open previously opened project" for action when closing a project. Using cmd-shift-w you can then simply "switch" projects. But it's exactly a you say: focus on one project is good but sometimes it's not ...

That was a preference I missed. Thank you. That will make life easier. Can switch between one and the other.

    Thanks.
