    Hello,

I like the new paradigms set by this software very much. One of the things that I've stumbled a lot in my experience handling dat
is that formats tend to become obsolete very quickly. I'm trying to find ways to solve that by using open source formats.

So far, I've seen that XML documents is the best way to go because the tags are customer designed. They can be exported to XHTML very easily
with XSL and CSS to style them.

Is there any way to edit or export XML from Ulysses 2.0?

    With Love,
    Uddhava d?sa

Our brand-new (but still in development) WebExporter is the place for you to go. The ideal starting point is here.

Oh, it definitely does so! Just try it out. The download comes bundles with a documentation you can export on your own!

Just to fill you in on some details:
the Web Exporter comes with a range of Templates, mostly export to XHTML.
However, you can also create your own Template, which suits your personal needs. You could create a "skeleton" XML file that includes placeholders, which will be replaced by the text or the title of your Ulysses Documents during export.
There's a whole chapter on creating custom Templates in the documentation, which is included in the beta.

Oh that's cool. Just what I needed. I completely agree with the philosophy of full control over the export. Being able to write plugins is just right. Nice work.
