Is there a way to hide the tab bar when only one tab is in use? If not, there should be.

It's useless / weirdly distracting when I only need to focus on one document (but need notes so I can't enter console mode).

There's currently no way to hide the tab bar, but you can just hit Ctrl-N to access the Notes in Console Mode.

Starting with Ulysses 2.0, you can view and edit Notes in the Console Mode. Just hit Ctrl-N and a small heads-up-display pops up.

I don't think you can hide the tab bar.

Glad I posted — I'm a new user (could you tell, lol) and I didn't know about console notes. Thanks both of you.
