    Dear all,

My iMac runs on OS 10.6.6 in Dutch, so Ulysses automatically came in Dutch when I bought it from the App Store yesterday. I noticed that the Dutch translation of menus, functions, and buttons in the Ulysses interface is rather bad. (I would be happy to translate it for you properly, just let me know!)
However, for now I would like to switch over to using the English version of Ulysses – how can I do that?

    Best regards,

    Max van Duijn

Unfortunately, under 10.6 switching the language per Application is not as easy anymore as it was under 10.5. You can use the command

    defaults write com.soulmen.ulysses2 AppleLanguages '("en-US")'

in the Terminal to change the language for Ulysses to English. If you don't want to fiddle around with the Terminal, you can use Language Switcher.

If you have suggestions for improvements to the Localization, please send us an email to sales@the-soulmen.com :)

Thank you! (as an old ms-dos-user I'm fond of fiddling around with the terminal)

I have plenty suggestions concerning the Dutch translation (sometimes it are matters of spelling only, but at some places the problem is bigger: e.g. the English "paragraph" is not the same as a Dutch "paragraaf" (which means "section") – if I find a way to structure my suggestions properly, I'll send an e-mail)

    Best regards
