Ulysses 2.0: List symbols

    Hello,

    I created a style for lists but found nowhere where I could set the style for the list symbols (like dash, dot, square).

    At export, those would not show up neither. So my lists look like this :

    some item
    some other item
    some third item

    The PDF, RTF and the Word Exporter include enumerations as styles, which are equivalent to your lists. Unfortunately, you can't set the style of the list symbol there, it's always a dash.

    This is fine. I chose the enumeration style. But still I don't see the dash.

    I don't really need to chose any other style, but at least I need a dash.

    Is this software supported at all ? Is this the right way to ask for support ?

    The best way for enumerations would be to make Paragraph Styles with - or • as their Tag and just write your list like this:

    - Point 1 (there's a tab between dash and text for better visibility but the board software ate it)
    • Subpoint 1
    • Subpoint 2
    - Point 2

    Then in Export, apply Enumeration as a Style to them and choose not to delete the tag.

    Ok I get it thanks.

    But to be honnest that kills the whole purpose of having a tag, don't you think ? Are you going to fix it ?
