Let's say I finish typing a paragraph, and my cursor is resting there at the end of that paragraph. When I switch from Standard to Console, I find the cursor dutifully in the same location in the document: at the end of that same paragraph. But if I immediately switch back to Standard, without having moved the cursor, I find that now, back in Standard mode, the cursor is not located anywhere in the document at all. To get it back in the document, I need to click in the document.
If I try the same experiment but start out in Console and then switch to Standard and back, I get strange results, which I'm having trouble following the logic of.
It would be great to be able to switch back & forth between Standard & Console modes and have the cursor stay put in the last place I left it most recently, regardless of which mode I last typed in.
Hello Mark, thank you for mentioning this. We already had several people telling us about the sometimes strange cursor behaviour and are working on fixing it.
