Ulysses 2.0: Daily Word Count and Spell Check not staying on

    I love the software, but I have two questions/requests.

    First, under Ulysses > Preference, I select "Check spelling as you type." But it seems I have to do that every time I open the software or start a new document. Is there a way to make this global and to stay on?

    Second, is there a way to find out how many words I have typed in a single day? I see the total word count, but to encourage regular writing, it would be nice to see how much I have typed so far each day.

    We're currently working on the issue of some Preferences not sticking. A fix will hopefully be available in the next release. The daily word counter is also on our list, but I don't know if or when it will be included.
