    Just wanted to share the news about Italian translation of my book ‘Vera’ (by Aleksandr Skorobogatov).

    It’s been published on April, 27 by Edizioni E/O, Roma, ISBN 978-88-7641-918-8, received 5/5 from ‘Internazionale’ and got sold out on Italian Amazon in a day, having rocketed in a couple of hours to the #3 in ‘I Prodotti del Memento in Libri’ (Movers & Shakers in Books) with more than 50.000% growth.

    PS — Just for the better understanding of this post: Max has asked everyone a couple of years ago to post news about our publications, written in Ulysses. I found it a good idea: if you look around, others are using such info to promote their writers apps. I'd even suggest making a new category for announcements of the new publications... or something like that.

    I'm not sure what happened: I've received your comment by email, but it doesn't shows here.

    Anyway, here's the answer: no, I don't credit Ulysses in the colophon. I'm not sure whether it's possible, as publisher would see it as promotion of a commercial product, as some kind of product placement. Besides, normally you aren't being asked about any input for the colophon, it uses pretty much standardized info.

    Nice to see your book has been published in Italian! Now if I could only convince myself to start with my Italien lessons again…

    I think it really depends on the publisher what they will allow in the colophon. I read references to LaTeX from time to time there, but unfortunately no mentions of Ulysses in books I've read yet.

    Yes, and the comment initially did show up on the website; it must have somehow disappeared!
    I have sometimes seen references to dtp software and more frequently the typeface used in a colophon, beyond the standardised info. But I was just being curious. Since my post has vanished into thin air, let me repeat my congratulations!
