Ulysses 2.0: Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Compatibility

    According to this database of application compatibility, Ulysses has "some issues" with the new OS.

    Is this correct? Is there more info on this?

    The scroll bars don't work correctly. We will fix all Lion-related issues in 2.1. That will take a few weeks though...

    I also noticed that Web Export doesn't work at all in Lion! The user is prompted for a save folder destination, but nothing is actually saved. I tested web export on numerous folders, including the desktop.

    It seems it's possible to export other document types, but web export fails. I'm sure many of us would be grateful if this could be corrected ASAP!

    HI, I'm about to purchase Ulysses 2.0 on the App Store. I'm running Lion, besides what's mentioned so far, is there a compelling reason to wait until 2.1 comes out?

    No, there's no reason! Götz just fixed the Web Export plugin to be compatible with Lion. (Since it's still officially a beta version you have to install it via a separate download.)

    WebExport isn't showing up as an option. I assume it's supposed to be listed with all the other export options (LaTeX, PDF, etc.). It's not there.

    I'm running 2.1 on Lion (non-App Store) and used the one linked by goetz above. I copied it into /Applications/Ulysses.app/Content/Plugins and I see it there with all the other plugins, but in Ulysses it doesn't show up.

    Web Export comes pre-installed with version 2.1, there's no need to manually download it. Could it be that you've just replaced the working exporter with an old one? :)
