    Hello,

    Sorry, this information must be somewhere, but I looked for it and can't find it anymore. How can we add pictures in Ulysses ?

    Salut Serge,

    Place a unique ID in the doc text where you want the image. Surround the uid with double straight brackets so: [[UID001]]
    Make a note in the same document and place another set of double straight brackets so: [[]]

    Inside the brackets enter your uid, then 2 dashes and enter the text that you want for the caption. So:
    [[uid001--caption]]
    Now, copy your image, place the cursor between the two dashes and paste. So:

    [[uid001-pastedImage-caption]]

    Do you mean copy the actual image or its filename ?

    Not the file name; the actual image i.e.:

    Open the image in an image processor like photoshop or preview
    Choose Edit->Select all
    Choose Edit->Copy
    Paste the clipboard with the image bitmap to the note item.

    btw, you can also drag the image from the desktop to the note. Happy imaging!
