Hei. I have problem getting the app to sync with dropbox. "the operation could not be completed, dropbox.com error 400. Possible this has been covered in the forum but die a search without results. Any ideas? My dropbox is proper set up on my pad. Have an ipad2.

Hi,
I got this error too once. I assumed that it was a writing error of some kind in Dropbox, but I am not sure. I seem to remember having seen something similar before (not with Daedalus) where Dropbox reported a sync conflict that really wasn't there. My solution was to go in to Dropbox (via the Dropbox app) and delete the file in question on the server, and then resync. That worked. As Dropbox keeps previous versions of files, deleting files should be pretty safe, but if you are paranoid, I guess you could rename it instead.

Hmm..is there s way in daedalus to reconfigure dropbox settings? I deleted the daedalus folder in dropbox u see, thought i would save files in another folder, is there a way to reconfigure thid? -

It seems the 400 issues occur when a stack title is suffixed with a space or the like. Renaming the stack should solve it. We'll also generously handle that issue in 1.1!

I just updated to 1.1 and I am afraid the issue hasn't been solved. Or, at any rate, I had syncing problems that are probably related to something similar -

You might have to go into the syncing and re-select the sync folder. As mentioned before: dropbox handles folders with a whitespace suffix with a 400 error :/

Hi. I'm having the "dropbox.com error 404" again when syncing files (I'm on Daedalus Touch 1.1.1 on an iPad 2). It started out of a sudden in a stack which was previously working fine. The sheets' titles have "," but no "." or other non-standard characters like parentheses.
I've tried to rename the folder to something else in dropbox, to no avail. The funny thing is that if I choose to keep the sheets order during syncing, it gives the error when uploading the 1st sheet out of 61 (which has nothing wrong in its name), but if I choose to ignore the order, then it fails when uploading the 7th one (unfortunately, there is no recognizable pattern in the name of the already uploaded sheets, so I can't predict the next one which is giving the error to do more testing).
Of course, other stacks keep syncing alright.
Any help would be really appreciated!

To me, this sounds like some problem with some file name generated by Daedalus. Could it be the case that some of your sheet titles are quite long? If so, please try shortening the longer ones. If it does help, it's a known issue we will fix in the upcoming 1.2 release.
If that does not help, it would be nice to have a few more details. If you don't mind, I'm especially interested in the name of the stack, the path it is synced to on Dropbox, as well as the names of the sheets (at least the first one). If you prefer some discretion, you could also send this info via eMail to support@the-soulmen.com.
