But you sure know that we already count a sheet in the upper right corner, don't you? So just to make it clear: do you want to count multiple sheets or part of a sheet?

I would like a Stacks Overview. I mean a new view on top of the current one.
I currently have so many Stacks that switching between them by swiping is a bit of a pain. Workable, but my projects are growing and growing. Maybe in the current Stacks view, one more pinch could give you a new Stacks overview just like the projects overview in Things for iPad. It's like a birds eye view of all your stacks to instantly switch between them.
P.S.
I like the current Stacks Overview just fine. I would just like to have one more view added that aids me switching between Stacks that are far apart. -

Maybe it would be a good idea to change the wording in the Export function. I mean, Daedalus is about Stacks and Sheets, and when exporting we are back to Files and Documents. For instance, One File Per Document should read as This Stack Per Sheet, or This Single Sheet, depending on what it is you want to export, a stack or a sheet. Surely this would be less confusing? -

Funny. This is, of course, wrong, and it's a bit strange, since it's to correctly localized, so this must've slipped at a very late point. It should read "one file per sheet"; we'll fix this asap.

I would like a word (and maybe char) count for each stack right next to the page count on the first page. That would make longer pieces and Nanowrimo so much easier for me ;-)
Some overview of all the stacks or a way to group certain stacks would also be great. -

The next update (1.2) will be released around the time Apple releases iOS 5. However, stack grouping will most certainly not make the cut.

Ulysses synching. The export import dance is driving me mad. I now do a great deal of mobile writing, And when I come home I avoid importing to my "get it done" desktop.
It would seriously improve my workflow if I knew it "just worked" as Steve would have said. -

Ulysses and Daedalus are two separate products with very different document stucture. There's currently (!) no way to sync the two. It's like Pages and Textedit.

Yes I was just teasing... I have a workable solution. A bit cumbersome, but workable. And I mean, we *do* have two great editors to move between in the first place.
I'll just keep on typing here safely assured that you will soon provide us with something miraculous...

1 and 1 together gives me 11. As in 2011? So I guess we can expect new and syncing versions of Ulysses and Daedalus touch this year?
