    I love Daedalus touch on my iPad. Any plans to port it to the iPhone or (even better) make it a Universal app? I would love to be able to synchronize the two so I can edit with my phone when unable to use my iPad.

    We had that in mind from the very beginning. And if we do a iPhone version, it will be universal. There are, however, quite a few changes we will have to make and maybe even need to drop some features. For these reasons there isn't an iPhone version yet. Don't expect it too soon either but rest assured that it's part of our grand plan :)

    You may want to consider letting people know your plans to release an iPhone/iPod touch version. I was hesitant to purchase the application when I saw that it was not available for my phone as well.

    Maybe mention on the App Store page "coming soon to iPhone" or something like that.

    We don't want people to purchase our apps for things that might be coming. While we do plan a iPhone version and hope to have the time for it by summer, we can't guarantee it. Thus we tell users that we do plan it and we hear their wishes but that it will take some time.

    Any further word on an iPhone-compatible version of Daedalus? And maybe Daedalus compatibility for Ulysses? I'm on the verge of moving to another editor in order to work on documents seamlessly on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac, but I really love the aesthetic of Daedalus and would love to stick with you guys!

    I guess this is just another vote for an iPhone version of Daedalus as soon as possible.

    Hello,

    making Daedalus touch compatible for iPhones is prospectively one of our next bigger projects after the release of Ulysses 3 in the next few month. Our plan is to create a universal version of Daedalus, which has to be purchased only once in the App Store for all your devices. Furthermore we want to integrate Ulysses 3 with Daedalus. So with Ulysses 3 you will prospectively get the possibility to sync your work with all your devices.

    When you guys release Ulysses 3 and update Daedalus Touch for sync AND universality, you will truly be LEGENDARY.

    I love using Daedalus Touch even with the iPad soft keyboard, only prob is that I own Scrivener on my Mac and can't integrate the 2 very well. And I don't have DT on my iPhone.

    The good news is, that the upcoming version of Daedalus Touch 1.5, which will be prospectively released in the next two weeks can be used on the iPhone too :).

    Additionally we have already a discussion about making the synchronization between Scrivener and Daedalus Touch possible, but for now I can't promise anything yet.

    I just downloaded on my iphone(!) and updated to 1.5 on my iPad.

    I read in the guide docs that its okay to use both Dropbox and iCloud. Is there anything I need to be aware of when doing this, or will it all 'just work'?

    It should all "just work", i.e. you can enable Dropbox and iCloud sync at the same time. Stacks for which Dropbox sync (or Box.com/WebDAV) is enabled should be synced to your Dropbox. All stacks are synced over iCloud.
