    Hello community!

I Just bought Ulysses this week and I'm very excited to get the hang of it. I'm hoping to use this for a few projects but most importantly I want to use it to write my graduate thesis. My vision is to have each section of the thesis in a separate document, with export compiling them together. This is an intended use case, correct?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to explicitly set the order of export into the final document.

For instance if I have 10 documents how do I make sure that the introduction winds up at the front.

Side note 1: I'm also using collections to group the sub-sections (i.e. collection names are actually section names) but I assume that can't be brought into the picture (no problem -- I'm happy to enter section names into the first document of a section by hand)

Side note 2: It would be amazing if Ulysses projects could have a "meta document" that allowed me to load in other documents in the same way you might load in a note. That way you could just export the meta document, you could add in headings and orders by hand, and it would be really easy to change the organization. Basically I'm suggesting that you allow for document make files.

Hello sifty :) To manually sort your Documents for export, just click on the second column from the left (between the checkboxes and the Document title) in the Documents Browser during Export. You can then change the order of the Documents by drag and drop. As for note 1: Hierarchical export is currently not possible, but it's on our list for future versions. I hope with the above explanation, note 2 is not used anymore :)

Oh great! Thanks so much -- the ability to reference documents from documents would still be really great by the way, but this meets my immediate needs perfectly :)

    Many thanks again.
