Ulysses 2.0: Right indent? (And what is "tall indent")

    I'm trying to set up a paragraph style for block quotes and have figured out just about everything except a "right indent." I set "head indent first line" and "head indent other lines" to my desired measurement (sidenote: can we get the option to display points rather than inches?). What I can't figure out is what setting controls the right indent. Is this the "tall indent?"

    PS I'm going to call "shame" on the fact that you have a setting in the program ("head indent" and "Tall indent") that is not mentioned in the help file (at least not as far as searching it using Apple's "Help Center" goes). This is a great program, but an omission like this is extremely frustrating. I should not be forced to experiment with settings just to figure out what they are (nor will I do so). What the heck is a "tall indent?"

    PS Not even Google pulls up "tall indent" and "Ulysses" on the same page (in reference to Soul-men). The only hit?

    It's called "tail indent" :)
    And it's the opposite of the head indent, i.e., the "right indent". You're right -- the term right indent is used much more than tail indent. We basically stuck to Apple terminology (if you google "tail indent", you'll find some developer documentation regarding indentation).
    Please be aware that the tail indent needs to be set negatively, currently. So if you want a right indent of 2 cm (about 57 points), set it to -2 cm.

    Well, don't I feel like a dummy now? Hi-res monitors are great until you need to read small-ish text. :P

    I still stick by my "complaint" that it's not listed in the Help file anywhere. That's a somewhat uncommon usage, and really should be explained explicitly somewhere in the Ulysses help. Even OS X's help isn't especially useful here. At least now that I know the right word, Google is far more useful. :)

    We just updated the Ulysses help to include a note regarding the different indentations. You can already view it in the online help and it will also be included in the next version of Ulysses.
