Hi,

I'm currently evaluating Ulysses and quite like it so far; however, I've encountered a few crashes while working on documents, and I'm not sure how they happened. They concern me somewhat because they've caused me to lose bits and pieces of work. Otherwise, Ulysses has worked very well for me and I really enjoy using it.

I'd like to attach the crash logs, but I'm not sure how to do so on this forum (apparently I can't copy and paste them into the text input box because they're beyond the max character limit).

This is a bug that has been kidding of for a very very long time. Actually we never managed to understand how these problems actually appear and how they can be fixed. Even to people at Apple whom we had spoken to weren't able to help us any further. Howver there are two thing you can do to try to circumvent the problem:

1. Change the editor font to a different, hopefully simpler font. (try Lucida Grand for example)
2. Install Snow Leopard. We have learned they fixed a lot of bugs in the text system, maybe it includes this one
