Daedalus touch: Dropbox sync hickup in version 1.4

    I found that changing the location (of a folder) or name of a stack from within Daedalus on Dropbox results in a error message.

    Any hint?

    To actually help you here I need a little more information about the problem. Could you please tell me what the error message exactely says? By changing the location of a folder you mean the changing of the current sync folder via the Synchronization-dialoge? And I am not sure what you mean by changing the name of a stack from within Daedalus on Dropbox.

    Therefore it would be great if you could help me out here. :-)

    I sometimes find that Daedalus Touch 'hangs' during a DropBox sync. It will basically hand at the checking with remote server part (don't have my iPad so don't remember the exact term), I let it go 30-40 seconds and it stays there. This is while I am editing a document.

    I find that exiting and force-quitting the app, and then opening and re-syncing always solves the problem.

    I am not simultaneously modifying the file or folder on my Mac.

    Let me know if you need more info. It's a little niggle, not a major problem as I don't believe I've ever lost data.

    this is strange indeed. Have you ever tried to disable auto-sync? Does the problem still occur in this case?

    I will try disabling auto-sync and let you know.

    It does currently happen even if I tap the sync icon to force a sync.

    Hi Vivien, I disabled auto sync and narrowed it down to 1 folder with a lot of files. There's a sub folder in there too- is that okay?

    I will try playing around with the contents of the folder.

    The subfolder shouldn't matter, I think. To really make sure it's not the subfolder that is causing the problems, can you temporarily move that folder to another location?

    Just to update- I never really tried to get to the bottom of this, as it happens so rarely that it's not an issue. Dropbox only sync is working fine on my iPhone 4S now as well. Thanks!
