Daedalus touch: 1.4.1 Crash at WebDAV sync setup

    Just purchased DT 1.4.1 and tried to do a setup that allows me to work with my Macmini via WebDAV. (10.8.1 server)

    However the app just crashes when I complete the WebDAV setup form each time.

    What I tried so far:
    Restart iPad
    Delete and reinstall DT

    Result:
    still crashing every time once I try to complete the WebDAV setup.

    I'm looking for a solution here as the app is quite useless for me without a (working) sync option.

    Hello maeckle,

    thanks for getting Daedalus and sorry for the inconveniences. I am not sure what is causing the problems but we will definitely look into them. The problem with WebDAV is that there is no consistent API but every server has a slightly different implementation.

    In order to be able to test it: Could you be a bit more specific about your WebDAV setup? How did you configure it, etc?

    I hope we can fix this as soon as possible!

    thanks for taking care.

    Just now when I was about to read out the settings I noticed that suddenly everything is working like a charm.

    Seems like the server needed a restart too for some obscure reasons though all is fine now.

    For the record: the troublesome share in question is the user directory on my mac configured to use WebDAV as transfer protocol in OS X (10.8.1 server) settings.

    Anyway thanks and sorry to bother ;)
