Ulysses 2.0: Website Links in Notes

    In the notes panel:

    When I cut and paste a paragraph from a website that contains links in the copy, then those links are active—clickable.

    But when cut and paste a website address alone into notes, the address is not clickable.

    Is there a fix for this?

    This is the default Mac behavior, as far as I'm aware. When you cop&paste website content, it is copied as rich text. However, when you copy the address of a website, it is copied as plain text. For instance, if you paste website content into Pages, it is pasted with clickable links (because it is rich text, RTF), if you do the same with a website address, it is not clickable either (because it is plain text). So this is not a "bug" in Ulysses, but just the way Safari or OS X in general behave.

    Thanks for the explanation.

    I did find a simple workaround.

    From the address field in Safari, I drag the website URL onto my desktop. I then drag the URL from my desktop into the notes panel. The website is now clickable from the notes panel.
