Daedalus touch: Daedalus Export .fountain File Extension

    Hello,

    Currently, Daedalus has the option for .txt .md .mdown and .markdown as text export file extension. As a screenwriter it would be helpful if you can add .fountain to that text export list. This would make things so much easier, as I can directly export to Storyist, or other apps that do .fountain. Thanks.

    We will definitely have deeper look at Fountain and think about an implementation. But for now I can't promise anything yet.

    Well, I'm not asking for any translator. Simply to add .fountain extension to Create TXT export. Because Fountain is just pure text. Daedalus only gives the option of .txt and .markdown for Create TXT. Simply adding .fountain extension to Export - TXT... - Open In... and it's done.

    Right now, I have to change the .txt file extension to .fountain in another app. A big hassle:

    I have to export in Daedalus as TXT with .txt file extension.
    Open In an app that handles text files.
    Change the file extension from .txt to .fountain.
    Open In the app that reads .fountain.

    So it's only a question of file extensions.

    I completely understand your point here.
    Nevertheless for we will possibly add full Fountain support, we won't just add the extensions, but have to figure out how to implement the whole package.

    I hope you understand our decision here.
