    Please tell me [this old feature request](http://forum.blue-tec.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1330) is still being considered for Ulysses 2.1:

    > [...] What if you also could set the name of collections/filters to be exported as LaTeX chapter markers for instance? This would be immensly useful to me at least. Today I use collections to divide my text documents into chapters, and the write a chapter title using a header marker in the first document of each collection. It would be great to to able to move this information outside the actual documents.

    I miss this every day. Or, often — at least.

    I can see some use for that, because I usually export single chapters—and have to change the chapter title manually during export. If I could select a filter (or collection, but I use filters myself) that might be partially solved.
    Partially, because I add info in the \addtodocument field as follows:

    \pagestyle{fancy}\renewcommand{\headrulewidth}{0}
    \lhead[\thepage]{\textsc{\textit{CHAPTER TITLE}}}\rhead[\textsc{\textit{BOOK TITLE}}]{\thepage}
    \setcounter{page}{1}
    \thispagestyle{empty}

    Which I have to change each time I export a different chapter.

    To be honest, we did not consider this for 2.1. That version will be focused on data security, project management and syncing. Ulysses 2.2 is though planned to deliver some bigger changes to Export - I think it'll be good to add there...

    Hmm... interesting... and could you already say when Ulysses 2.1 / 2.2 are planned for? this year or next (approx.)?

    All I can say a bit reliable is that 2.1 is scheduled for this autumn. Dunno if we actually make it to finish it in October - as was our initial plan. Ulysses mobile has priority right now.

    Although I have an iPod Touch, I wonder whether I would use it for Ulysses Mobile, try as I might beyond any doubt. But if the iTablet or whatever its name is going to be actually materialises—and I somehow find the funds and use for it to justify the no doubt considerable expense—I definitely would want it... In general, I find typing notes cumbersome on the iPod Touch, even in horizontal mode. For note-taking it is great, however.

    The mobile version is mostly thought as a companion to the desktop variant: shut down ideas and revise things you've written - e.g. by marking passages as to be reworked or likewise. You could also think of U mobile as a way to have your texts at hand every time you want to look something up or want to add a comment as you go.

    So, am I getting this right that there is still no way to use collections or group as, say, \part{collection-name}?

    That is sad.

    That means I have to duplicate the structure of the browser within the individual documents, right?

    Am I somehow using the program incorrectly and just not getting the genius behind this?

    Yes, this is a limitation inherently linked to the structure of the app. We know this and will fix it in the next major revision. You will have to stick to that workaround for some time still.
